Hello everyone, My name is Paiton Tegstrom, and I’m so excited to be a Dance Assistant again! I grew up in Melfort, Sask, and trained at the Melfort Dance Centre from 2005-2017. I have experience in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, pointe, and song & dance, though my favourite discipline is ballet! I was a dance assistant from 2013-2015 and a junior teacher from 2015-2017, with creative movement, ballet, and jazz classes for ages 4-12. I competed in Prince Albert, Tisdale, Rose Valley, and Humboldt throughout the years. I’m currently a child & youth mental health therapist with the SHA, and I’m looking forward to spending more time in the community!

Charlene has over 25 years experience in Middle Eastern dance. She began dance as a child in various genres, before solely pursuing Raqs Sharki in her early 20s.

Charlene is currently a dance artist with Yasmina Ramzy's, YRA Dream Dance Company.
